The brake cables have some slight discoloration and rub marks, but function perfectly. All of the chrome is in very nice condition and the chain guard retains the “F3 Eliminator Mark 3” silkscreen. The front “Murray Eliminator” badge is brilliant. The white detail on forks and stickers on main tube are strong and intact. The faded two tone paintjob is gorgeous with only small discrepancies here and there. It has apparently seen little use and cared for when ridden. That being said, the bike functions and is very fun to ride.Ĭosmetically the bike just looks great for its age. I also noticed a slight tilt in the left pedal which is felt while pedaling. The front wheel has a bit of a wobble to it which can most likely be taken out with spoke adjustment. Breaks are in good condition and grab well. The shifter works great and easily shifts through all three gears.

I just took the bike out to a local park for a spin and it rides fine, though it could use some minor mechanical tweaking to ride to its restored and full potential. A new rear reflector was put on as well as a new redline front tire and tube. Most everything is original and has just recently had a few new “period” parts put on.
